es at Intersoil 2026 Come and meet us at Intersoil 2026\, at Brussels Envi
 ronment (Tour & Taxis) in Brussels\, Belgium\, on 3–4 December 2026. Int
ersoil is an international conference dedicated to soil protection\, susta
inable soil management and the remediation of contaminated land. Its 6th e
dition\, organised in partnership with Brussels Environment\, is themed "F
rom contaminated soils to soil health: pollution\, functions and resilienc
 e". It brings together researchers\, experts\, public authorities\, consul
tancies and field practitioners from the three Belgian Regions and beyond.
The first day focuses on soil pollution: a review of regulatory framework
s in Flanders\, Brussels and Wallonia\, and emerging contaminants such as
PFAS and microplastics\, followed by a round table on PFAS. The second day
takes a broader view of soil management\, especially in urban areas: soil
  monitoring\, de-sealing\, technosols\, excavated soils\, and the preventi
on and restoration of degraded soils. As a specialist in thermal remediati
on technologies for contaminated soils and groundwater\, Haemers Technolog
ies will present how soils treated in situ can recover their functions\, a
key step from pollution removal to soil health. Learn more about how ther
mal desorption works. Date 3–4 December 2026 Venue Brussels Environment\
